Description
Don’t let its soft and supple feel fool you. Control Mono is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, combining serious strength and excellent abrasion resistance with the smooth handling you want from an everyday mainline.
Low memory keeps the line easy to work with and helps it sit cleanly on the spool, while minimal stretch provides excellent feedback and bite indication. When it’s time to cast, Control comes off the spool smoothly, delivering excellent casting performance whether you’re fishing short or pushing for distance.
Its subtle camo green colour blends naturally beneath the surface, helping keep your mainline discreet without compromising on the strength and reliability needed for demanding fishing.
Control Mono is available in 0.25mm, 0.30mm, 0.35mm and 0.38mm on generous 1250m bulk spools, enough to load three 400m reels.
Strong, supple and built to perform across a huge range of situations, Control Mono is a mainline you can put your confidence in.
Control Mono flies off the spool smoothly, giving you effortless casting performance when you need it.
Extremely supple
With very little memory, Control Mono stays extremely supple and easy to work with when on the bank.
Strong as an ox
Strength and durability combined with excellent abrasion resistance. A mainline you can put your confidence in.
Load it once. Forget about it.
The mainline you stop thinking about the moment it is on the reel. That is the whole point.

I have been using the PB control line in 18lb for about four years now and swear by it. I’m sure it is actually stronger than they say, as over gravel and Zebra mussels it has never given way. And at only .30 diameter it is actually thinner than most makes of 15 lb line. It casts superbly, sinks well, and is a good neutral colour that blends into all lake beds.
It’s one thing I don’t have to worry about when playing a good fish, just concentrate on playing the fish, and netting it. Simple…. Well almost👍

Dear Tim!
It's fantastic to hear you had such a successful first experience using our PB line, hooks, and jellywire during your fishing trip in France. We're thrilled that you love the products and appreciate you sharing your positive feedback.
Our team works hard to develop high-performance gear like the Control Mono 1250m, and it's incredibly rewarding to know it's making a difference in your angling adventures.
Thanks again for your wonderful review; we can't wait to see what you catch next with PB Products!
I've been using PB Control Mono on a heavily weeded pit lake, and it's been excellent. It's stood up incredibly well to constant punishment from thick weed and mussel beds without letting me down. The bite indication has been great, and for a 25lb breaking strain, it's impressively thin.
I recently landed this stunning 36lb carp using it, which has given me even more confidence in the line. I absolutely love it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone fishing demanding venues.
I have been using PB Control for about 7 orc8 years now. I wouldn't contemplate using any thing else. It casts well, brilliant abrasion resistance, just does everything really well. Ive used it both at home and on the continent and never had and problems.
I havent been out yet , but spolling up was a dream no coiling and very soft . For a mono its like it has been soaked it hot water coz it is so sopple . Quality product and will be using it again defo
Its Great mono, loaded easily on to my spools and I've found it casts superbly. Caught a handful of mid 20s so far and the mono has performed excellently, giving me Great confidence when playing a fish, just waiting for a 30 +.
Been using control mono for the last three years, had no problems with it whatsoever. Another massive plus is the bulk spool will fill three big pit reels.
I have used varying strengths of this line. Each and every time it impresses me!
A) Depending on which you go for, you can fit so much line on your spools! I’m currently using Nash scope GT 6000’s but never have to worry but fishing at distance with them
B) The feedback through the lines whether that be casting or playing a fish is second to none
C) its abrasion resistance really is as good as it says!
10/10 will use this length for as long as it’s made!
After chatting to another carp angler about his choice of mainline for a particular venue i decided to try this myself. First impressions are it does cast pretty well and the strength is as stated as i landed a carp which im sure would of done me if I was using my usual .30 mainline.
